Private Dining Manager, EPIC Steak
One half of the Johnson Twins, Amber and her twin brother Casey were born to a southern bell mother, in San Francisco and raised in Marin County.
Amber’s coming of age proved she was a woman of many artistic and athletic talents – having achieved numerous accolades for her competitive soprano voice, high merits on the track field as a sprinter and hurdler, and local, state and national honors on the pageantry stage. A few of her most coveted titles include formerly, “Miss San Francisco USA”, “Ms. California” and “Ms. American Woman.”
Post high school, Ms. Johnson’s educational journey brought her to San Jose where she earned her under graduate degree in African-American Studies and History at San Jose State University. Amber was a Spartan Cheerleader for both football and basketball, while in attendance.
Prior to joining Epic Steak, Amber moved out of state after college landing in Las Vegas and then Los Angeles. Pivotal enrichment of her hospitality and event planning aptitude was partially attributed to her time spent with prestigious companies like the Venetian and Caesars Palace. The L.A. chapter for Amber proved significant in the development of her restaurant management career with fast-casual brands, namely Pink Taco of the Morton’s lineage. Ms. Johnson’s acting flair blossomed with fleeting appearances on several major television shows – “Bones,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Entourage” and “CSI: Miami.” Most recently, Amber’s educational merits were elevated via her achievement of a master’s degree in television sports broadcasting.
Over two decades of experience in the broadcasting and the restaurant and hospitality industries, Amber has perfected the fundamentals of compassionate leadership, detail-oriented event planning and the keen ability to help her clients realize their wildest special event dreams!
